Excellent. Perfectly clear picture and great sound. The 'Deleted Scenes' portion was a little lacking in that the scenes that they chose to resurrect were mostly uninteresting. I've only had time to watch one documentary, but I chose a good one: 'Puppets to Pixels' was really cool. BTS info on Yoda, Dex, and digital stuntmen. In watching this doc, you can see Count Dooku fighting with two sabre against Yoda. Ummm. Ok. If they had this scene laying around, then why choose the scene of Padme's parents to fix up over something that people would really want to see?
Anyway, this is a must purchase. Highest recommendation. |

| Sad NewsSad News | 10/21/2002 |
| Last weekend my 10 year old dog, Grimmy, got out of the yard and was lost for about 36 hours before being struck and killed on the San Jacinto bridge. Luckily, my other two dogs did not decide to leave the yard and remain safe at home. Caroline and I are pretty sad about it and are actually still shocked that he made it so far away. He was kind of strange as dogs go and caused a lot of trouble over the last 10 years, but he also had a lot of qualities that will make us miss him. |

| I ordered Mike Fitzgerald's COG Joint tutorial and have been working through it S-L-O-W-L-Y. It's been VERY informative, for both modelling and rigging. I can easily recommend the technique, but warn that the instructions can be a little hard to follow. |

| More New LinksMore New Links | 10/11/2002 |
| I've added two new links to my Links page. The link to the 10 Second Club is particularly interesting for me. They run a monthly contest where they take a 10 second line from a movie and animators submit animations based on it. Winners are chosen by poll, but up to now the only congratulations were a virtual pat on the back. For the November contest, the winner will receive a brand new copy of Maya Complete. That's pretty big-time. I think I'll give it a shot :). |

| Go to the Babies page for some new, albeit lower quality pics. You can see a hand though. Being that my job during delivery is to count toes and fingers, I view that picture and think, "5 down, 15 to go." |

| Cyborg X is DeadCyborg X is Dead | 10/1/2002 |
| It's official from "Wild Bill" himself. I guess the brains behind Cyborg X has decided to pursue other interests (like becoming a rock star) instead of indie game production. So, I guess I'll rename the Cyborg X link and take Bill out of the site's database. Too bad. I was learning a lot. |

| At the Online Learning ConferenceAt the Online Learning Conference | 9/25/2002 |
| Things are definitely winding down here in Anaheim on this final day of the Online Learning Conference. I'll be able to take away some very important concepts to try and improve my work in the world of online learning. Mostly though, I'd like to go home. I'm not complaining about my handicapped (handicapable?) room or its king size bed. I just like mine at home better. |

| I added a couple new links on the Links page. I guess you could officially say that my interests are shifting from amatuer game production back to amatuer film and animation. More on this later, though. |
