| Worked on making the smartskin on Cyborg 1 look better last night. AM crashed and I'm not sure where the last save point was. I'm downloading AM 9.5i right now. They have been getting increasingly stable with each release, so here's hoping that whatever made me crash last night has been fixed. |

Back from PA. I lugged my laptop across the country, but the only chance that I had to work came at the end. An extended layover in Philedelphia gave me enough time to rework Cyborg 1's body a little, re-attach his Setup Machine bones and get some smartskin done on him.
Animations and Texture maps will be the focus this week. |

| This evening I am leaving on a 3 day excursion to Pennsylvania, where I will be assisting mw wife's grandparents in packing up their home for an upcoming move. I AM going to try and get some work done (I am taking my laptop), but I believe that the time in PA will be long and tiring. Wish me luck. |

| After figuring out the rig issues, I am back at modeling. The first model is nearly done, and will need his skin soon. I am confident that some combination of AM, Milkshape and Ultimate Unwrap will help produce the highest quality skin. |

| I re-installed the Setup Machine Rig last night and it works fine in AM now. The trick now is going to be getting the actions it creates into Genesis. My first test was minimally successful; the motion of the root bone made it through, but none of the others. I'll have to contact Ran13 and get some advice.
Update
Figured it out. The Setup Machine will work beautifully. The trick is to bake the action, turn constraints OFF and then export the .mot file. |

| I am trying to get the Setup Machine and fan bones to co-exist peacefully, but so far no dice. I got tired last night and gave up before putting in too much time. I think I'll contact Anzovin today and see if they have any suggetsions.

| I saw Star Wars twice yesterday and I can honestly say that it improves with each viewing. I may try and sneak in another viewing this weekend.
I've been working on a face for one of the Cyborgs. He's too ugly to be the hero, so I will wait and use him for an enemy cyborg.
Also, I completed the banner graphic for this site and worked out a page titling system. Once I add the CyborgX content (public and private), I will officially be up and running. |

| I'm rested now and still believe Episode II to be a great movie. The empty sort of betrayal I felt after leaving the Phantom Menace was replaced by an exhuberance that left me wanting more, much more. See this movie. I've seen Spider Man and Spidey has nothing on Yoda. I'll leave it at that.
